🃏 How to play
Crazy Eights rules
Match the suit or the number. Slam down an 8 to change everything.

The goal
Go out first each hand. Everyone else scores penalty points for the cards they're still holding — Roundfello ends the game when anyone reaches the target, and the lowest total wins.
How a hand works
- 1
Deal
Deal 7 cards each for 2 players, 5 cards each for 3 or more. Stack the rest as the stock and flip the top card to start the discard pile.
- 2
Match the top card
On your turn, play one card that matches the top discard's suit or rank. A 7♥ can go on any heart or any 7.
- 3
Eights are wild
An 8 can be played on anything. Name the suit the next player must follow.
- 4
Can't play? Draw
Draw from the stock until you get a playable card (or the stock runs out). You may also draw even when you could play.
- 5
Go out
The first player to play their last card ends the hand.

End of a hand
- 1.Mia goes out.
- 2.Leo holds 8♣ and K♦ → 60 points.
- 3.Ava holds 3♠ and A♥ → 4 points.
- 4.Mia scores 0 for the hand.
Winning tips
- Save your 8s — but don't get caught holding one (50 points!).
- Change suit to one you know the next player is short in.
- Get rid of high cards early.
Popular house rules
- Winner-collects version: the player who goes out scores everyone else's penalty points, and the first to the target wins. Use a Custom Card Game for this version.
- Some tables play 2 = next player draws two, Queen of Spades = draw five, Jack = skip.
